KTech Fest 2.0 Pitch Fest: Nigerian Startups Win ₦15 Million in Innovation Competition

The KTech Fest 2.0 Pitch Fest showcased some of Nigeria’s most promising startups, highlighting innovative solutions addressing real-world problems across multiple sectors. Out of 302 applications, only 15 finalists were selected to present before a panel of expert judges.

Finalists participated in a dedicated workshop led by industry mentors, preparing them to refine their business models, improve presentation strategies, and demonstrate execution readiness.

Projects were evaluated using structured criteria including innovation, team competence, market viability, problem-solution fit, and execution readiness. The competition featured a ₦15 million prize pool, combining cash rewards and equity investments to support long-term startup growth.

Pitch Fest Winners

  • Qiqi Farms — 1st Place (₦7.5M) An agritech startup represented by Favour Adeleke
  • Semita AI — 2nd Place (₦4.5M) an AI-powered market research and business validation platform designed for entrepreneurs and SMEs to automate business analysis, competitor research, and idea validation
  • Avnifi — 3rd Place (₦3M) a financial payments and money-management service that lets users send and receive money, buy airtime/data, and pay bills using WhatsApp — without needing to download another app or open a new account

The Pitch Fest reinforced KTECH’s commitment to supporting scalable startups and promoting entrepreneurial innovation within Nigeria’s growing technology ecosystem.
